Nintendo has backed off the rumored $300 pricetag (based on the Japanese price, which isn't always a good indicator), bringing the U.S. price for the Nintendo 3DS down to a still steep $250 when it launches March 27.
Colors will be blue and black, and friend codes will finally be universal - one code per device, not game. Other features include a motion sensor, multitasking, parental controls and free apps such as a 3D camera, Mii Maker, StreetPass for sharing information as you near other 3DS owners, notepad, pedometer and eShop.
