In general, I like sniping but have never fallen in love with a sniper game. Until now.
Sniper Elite 4 is one of the most polished stealth shooters I've played. I have tried other games in this series, including the remasters, and they just lack the finesse and tight controls provided here. Loud noises such as plane flyovers present opportunities to mask the sound of your shot. Hiding in unkempt fields lets you get in close for a stealth takedown. And bodies can be wired with explosives to set traps for patrols.
