Despite some bumpy bugs in Forza Horizon 5 (including a nasty Club issue that lasted more than a year!), the game is still a daily treat for me. I'm always excited to try the new expansions when they land, and I used to be a RalliSport Challenge fan many years ago so I was curious about Rally Adventure.
It's a pretty seamless blend of rally-style racing with the core Forza engine. Rather than a navigator with a map in the car, you get a helicopter overhead calling your course for you in real time. Fortunately, you get the option to retain your driving line if you like, which is good for me as I sometimes have difficulty focusing on the audio cues and symbols on the screen.
It's not my favorite Forza Horizon expansion to date - Hot Wheels, especially the recent one, is so much better - but there's new terrain to map and new racing challenges, which are always welcome:
