I didn't know what to expect from Ghostwire: Tokyo, which just released on Xbox Series X/S and is included with Game Pass. All I know is that it's been out for a year on PlayStation, and it's made by the same developer as The Evil Within series and Hi-Fi Rush (which I recently streamed).
The first 10 minutes is almost purely cutscenes (no surprise there). I keep bumping up the font because the lower settings are so tiny (my advice: just bump it up all the way). The combat, when it finally appears, seems decent. It starts easy but enemies quickly become more resilient. To give you a taste of English version, I quit the game near the end and reloaded a checkpoint - but when I skipped out of a rather long cutscene we'd already watched, I was surprised to find it skips past all of the scenes.
Oh well, who cares about excessive backstory - let's get back to the action:
