You might want to make it your New Year's resolution to update your graphics card drivers, which are no doubt woefully out of date. Maybe, maybe not. First off, if you're not having any problems with the games you're playing now, you can safely put it off for another day. If you are looking for a particular graphics glitch fix, both ATI and NVidia have recent driver updates: ATI Catalyst 5.13 and NVidia Forceware 81.98. Read the release notes first to see what's been addressed - and whether you might lose any features you depend on. Then have a rollback plan just in case things don't work out...
