SOCOM 3 fans get their holiday wish early thanks to a Sony online patch that solves problems with disconnects and time-outs, some (but not all) voice chat issues and various in-game bugs. Simply login with SOCOM 3 and save the patch to a PS2 memory card... id Software knows that nothing says "holiday" like a fragfest, so they're offering three new maps for Quake 4 in their free Quakemas Map Pack.
