Whoa! - Apple's Intel Macs run PC games

With a few notable exceptions, Macintosh computers have lagged behind their PC brethren in the gaming space - until now. Apple has released Boot Camp, new Windows XP loader software for its Intel-based MacBook Pros, iMacs and Mac Minis. Unlike SoftWindows emulation and those kludgy Pentium PCI cards of yore, this solution creates a true dual-boot Mac and Windows computer, complete with Apple's easy partition setup, switcher software and drivers for most everything you'll need except the iSight video camera and Apple Remote. This means you'll have a Mac that, finally, is fast and reliable enough to run modern PC games such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, F.E.A.R. and Half-Life 2 at pretty good frame rates. You can download Boot Camp now, but you'll still need to shell out $200-300 for a full, non-upgrade version of Windows XP SP2. So, does this mean Apple has been assimilated, or has Microsoft...
