News Flash - World of Warcraft announces character transfers

Word has leaked that Blizzard is about to offer World of Warcraft character transfers. You'll be able to move your character to another realm as long as:

• You're Level 10 or above and not an active guild leader
  
• Your mailbox is empty
  
• No auctions are in progress
  
• The realm you're on and the realm you want are both on "the list" (which will change over time)
  
• You haven't transferred the character in the last six months
  
• You don't have too much gold on you (5000 limit for high-level characters, 300 on the low end)

It will cost you $25 in real money for each transfer, and could take up to 10 days to complete. Not only will you not be able to play your character during this time, you may be prompted to change your name if it's already taken on the new server when you arrive. Still interested?
