Due to the need for a thinner battery, the PSP Slim only gets about the same battery life as the original PSP - about 3-6 hours. However, if you have an original PSP battery, you'll be able to put it into the new hardware and get closer to 10 hours between charges. There's only one problem: It won't fit. The good news is that if you don't mind your Slim having an odd bulge, Sony will sell you an irregularly shaped backplate to cover it (price not yet announced, but how much can a piece of plastic cost?!)...
