Recall - Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel

Xbox 360 Wireless Racing WheelIf you plunked down for the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel, you might want to unplug it now. Microsoft announced that the wheel might "overheat and release smoke" when the AC adapter is used to power it (required for force feedback). You can continue to run it on battery while you request a free retrofit kit from xbox.com/support or by calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX...

Where are we suppose to answer the PAX question listed on twitter? Anyway, I won't be able to attend. I met both the PVP and penny-arcade people at ComicCon this year. Maybe next year I will be able to arrange a road trip up there. I wouldn't mind meeting you two as well.

As well as a busy gamer I am also a cheap ass gamer. I was wondering your take on the speedy1961 issue at cheapassgamer.com? I have trouble with trying to keep so much secret. When price drops are going to happen tell us so we can make an informed decision. Didn't Circuit City have the commercial where the kid returned to the store to get a discount on a WALKMAN he purchased the week before? Just save us the hassle plz.

Sorry, probably should have added a PAX topic. Not really sure the best way to meet up, if anyone wanted to. Probably just reply to this thread.

As for the speedy1961 issue, I think Circuit City (which, as I understand it, is suing to find the source of the leaked ads) is going about it the wrong way. Clearly the leak is internal or with a vendor (such as a printer or someone down the distribution chain). So it's their problem to find the source. Strong-arming a blog site isn't cool and probably won't work.

Also, it's actually kind of ridiculous since it's free publicity for them... oh, wait. Maybe that's why they're suing.

Anyway, that's my take.
