Xbox Live Marketplace is picking up the pace with a lot of new downloads including a few decent freebies:
- Overlord Raising Hell expansion ($10) which appears to require that you to complete the game to access, the Split Screen Pack (free) with a new two player mode and map, and the Challenge Pack ($5) with seven more multiplayer maps; there are also 10 new achievements split between the packs (seven single player and three multiplayer)
- Project Gotham Racing 4 Free Challenge Pack (hydrogen-powered 2007 Peugeot Flux, 10 achievements, and new Tourist Mode and Free Roam Cat and Mouse) and the $5 Premium Challenge Pack (all of the free stuff, plus six more cars, three bikes and World Challenge Arcade Mode with 20 new arcade events)
- NBA Live 08 All Star 2008 Pack (free) with official 2008 jerseys, arena and 10 Adidas shoes
- Chessmaster Live Calvert Chess Set (free)
- Rock Band songs ($2 each, or $5.50 for the 3-pack) "Complete Control" by The Clash, "Truth Hits Everybody" by The Police and "Teenage Lobotomy" by The Ramones
- Arcade: Discs Of Tron ($5) and Commanders: Attack of the Genos ($10)
- Xbox Originals: Ninja Gaiden Black, Pirates and Black ($15 each)
- GripShift Turbo Boost Expansion Pack ($4.38) adds eight new race tracks, eight new deathmatch arenas, 18 music tracks, Multiplayer Reverse Tag and Penguin Bowling, Snaker and Playground mini-games
- Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom accessory packs ($1.13 to $1.88 each, or $6.25 for a bundle)
- Demo: Frontlines: Fuel of War multiplayer and Spiderwick Chronicles
