Veterans of buggy EA Sports titles won't be surprised, but gamers are reporting numerous issues with NASCAR 09 and NCAA Football 09 that suggest you should hold off on these games (and, if you're wise, all other athletics-oriented games from the publlsher). The NASCAR bug is particularly foul: it eats your Xbox 360 game save often after significant progress has been made. The workaround is to disable auto-save and manually save early and often to a memory card (and, if you have both, to a hard drive too so you'll have a backup). NCAA Football on Xbox 360 doesn't even have a good workaround since the reported problems are myriad: problems with kick returns, CPU sliders don't work, online dynasty mode simulates games you've played, SuperSim mode overinflates final scores and CPU pursuit angles have defense escorting offense rather than tackling. And naturally rosters are screwed up (on both PS3 and 360) though a fix is in the works for that one...
