The folks who brought you Age of Empires (arguably the real-time strategy game that moved the genre mainstream) will be closing up shop next year after they complete Halo Wars. Apparently Microsoft has tired of Dallas-based Ensemble Studios and will be sending it the way of FASA (makers of the MechWarrior series and Shadowrun), which they closed down last year.
