This week, here's what you'll find new on the Wii:
- WiiWare: Bomberman Burst ($10) and Art Style: Orbient ($6)
- Virtual Console: SNES's Super Turrican 2 ($8)
- DS Demos: Lock's Quest and MySims Kingdom are the news ones, plus the usual repeats
- Videos: Art Style: Orbient, Bomberman Burst, Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2, Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine, Lego Batman, Littlest Pet Shop, Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked, Mario Super Sluggers, N+, Rock Band 2 and We Cheer
I wish there was a way we could try out demos to these games similar to how we can on xbox marketplace.
i have only purchased 5 virtual console/wiiware games, in comparison to 30 arcade games on 360, lol.
I've bought maybe 2-3 virtual console games and no wiiware to date. The storage issue is the main reason; I don't want to have to keep juggling games I've bought off to memory cards vs. local storage on the Wii.
2nd reason is the lack of demos: Watching a video isn't the same, and before the Nintendo (Marketing) Channel, going to the Web was "too far." Now I can watch the videos a little more conveniently, but it's still a pain to watch them stutter during streaming. I much prefer the 360 and PS3 method of downloading the videos/demos to the hard drive and then checking them out later.
