Microsoft dropped a few noteworthy news flashes at the Tokyo Game Show:
- Halo 3: Recon is the new prequel that Microsoft recently teased. Turns out, it's a prequel to Halo 3 that has you playing as a UNSC recon soldier instead of Master Chief. Expect a Fall 2009 release. UPDATE: This apparently is not an expansion, but a retail game.
- The new Xbox 360 dashboard has been dated: Worldwide launch is Wednesday, November 19 - just in time for Thanksgiving!
