PlayStation Store - Free Qore with not-so-free Flock! demo, free Kabuki Sackboy and Age of Booty maps

Sony does offer up some holiday freebies, but their big gift of Qore feels like an empty shell of a marketing preview because they left the main event, the Flock! demo, out of the box unless you've ponied up for the full-year subscription. C'mon - This isn't even an A-list game guys, and besides - aren't demos supposed to be free ads for your games?! Fortunately, they made it up to Blast Factor fans by launching a patch that adds trophies and rumble support.

Here's what's new this week at the PlayStation Store:

• Qore Episode 07 (free) includes a Killzone 2 theme and some videos - but if you want the Flock! demom you have to be an annual subscriber ($25/year)
• Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer ($10)
• PSP Games: Archer Maclean’s Mercury, Brain Challenge, Everyday Shooter and Super Stardust Portable ($10 each)
• LittleBigPlanet Kabuki Actor costume (free)
• Age of Booty Map Packs 1-3 (all free)
• Soul Calibur IV Customization Equipment 3 ($2) with Santa equipment
• Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Pack 4 (free) with Asuma and an Ultimate Mission
• Far Cry 2 Fortunes Pack ($10) with four maps, plus weapons and vehicles
