This week's Free Stuff Friday giveaway is not a walkthrough guide but rather an expanded travelogue of Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. It details nightlife, neighborhoods, where to shop, eateries and more.In fact, it appears to me to be a hardback edition of the game manual, probably from a deluxe PC edition of the game. I stumbled across it in a used bookstore and thought it was in good condition and might make a nice coffee table book. To be clear, there's no game disc included - it's just the book.

I could really use this, I just started up San Andreas last night.
San Andreas is, in my opinion, the best of the Grand Theft Autos. Yes the graphics on GTA4 were good, but I didn’t enjoy the characters as much as San Andreas’. I have played through SA multiple time and still own. I don’t think I will do that with GTA4, in fact writing this makes me feel like breaking out the PS2 again. Maybe I will after I win this book!

I remember skipping several sections of my undergraduate orientation to play San Andreas -- and it was worth it! I think San Andreas beats out Grand Theft Auto 4 as my favorite GTA game.

It might be too late but I'll give it a shot anyway. I've never heard of this book but it seems really nice.
Also potentially useful in real-life carjacking scenarios. You can beat the would-be criminal over the head with this hard-backed guide until he gives up.
I just started replaying this after beating Grand Theft Auto IV. So I could really use this to find the hidden packages.
Maybe this will finally get me to play my copy of GTA:SA.
