This week's Xbox Live Marketplace haul is not without controversy. As with the PS3 version, Resident Evil 5 Versus Mode adds multiplayer competitive assaults on Majinis and other players, but the download sizes are so small they appear to be unlock keys for content already on the game disc. Capcom insists they would not have been able to get the budget for this mode if they hadn't charged extra. If bashing zombies isn't your thing, Halo 3 has some new maps too. And Puzzle Quest: Galactrix finally came out six weeks later than originally announced and priced a bit higher than expected - though so far, worth it (if you ask me).
To top things off, Hotmail seems to be completely down this evening, which is effectively blocking me from using my Live ID to add content to my queue via the Web version of Marketplace. If you can get to it (hint: access directly from your console), here's what you'll find:
