Maybe this should be filed under "Stupid Marketing Tricks." I mean who announces a successor to a product the week BEFORE they launch its next version? But that's just what Nintendo has done with the Nintendo 3DS.
We don't know too much about it. There's not even an official picture. All we really know is that it will be backward compatible with today's DS games and supports "3D effects without the need for any special glasses."
The actual release will happen sometime in the next year (by March 2011) though it will almost certainly debut in Japan and then release even later in the U.S. Expect more details at E3 in June...
