Remember that King's Quest fan tribute game that got the cease-and-desist treatment from Activision (and before that, Vivendi Games)? Now renamed The Silver Lining, not only is is back on again, but the first episode "What is Decreed Must Be" is now available for download with four additional episodes due later this year. Phoenix Online Studios is offering fans a new 3D adventure that promises a proper ending to the revered King Graham storyline. The download is free but you will need to register to become a member of the Phoenix Online Fan Club and, if you're on Windows 7, you'll probably want to grab the patch that updates OpenAL drivers if you have problems with audio and video playback in the game...
