If you're plunking down $250 for a Nintendo 3DS at launch March 27, here are all of the games - priced at $40 a pop - that you'll find to go with it:
- Asphalt 3D
- Bust-A-Move Universe
- Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D
- Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
- Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
- Madden NFL Football
- Nintendogs + Cats
- Pilotwings Resort
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
- Rayman 3D
- Ridge Racer 3D
- Samurai Warriors: Chronicles
- Steel Diver
- Super Monkey Ball 3D
- Super Street Fighter IV 3D
Alas, no trace of Dead or Alive Dimensions (expected in May at last check) or we'd maybe consider picking one up...
I'm just now considering getting a DS lite. :) No way on the 3DS. The price of the system is way off my range. Not to mention I don't think 3D is really gonna catch on. It will limit play times and end up being a gimmick.
nothing surprising. I could care less about any launch lineup. I'm curious as to how long before games start getting released. I mean everyone keeps harping on the launch games like we won't be getting new games the next week. All i ask is 30 days. Give the system 30 days and THEN look at the library. Then everyone can complain about the lack of good series.
Very much on the fence with this because of the price and a bit worried about the bad effects of 3D on my daughter's eyes (and mine!). Would rather enjoy a good library of downloadable gameboy games though...
@Alvarox
Nintendo is the one that said it would be bad on your eyes. Other people say it might be beneficial to a young person's eyes and would not harm your eyes more than any other screen. This lineup seems very lackluster to me. I'm hoping the NGP lineup is better.
Yes, sounds like some eye doctors came out and said 3D isn't a problem for young kids after all. And you can turn off the 3D is you like. Even so, we don't see a compelling reason to get one of these for our 8 y.o. before (maybe) holiday 2011.
Kind of ruins the point of buying a 3D console if you are going to turn it off, right? Anyway, as always, the meat is in the games and I agree with all in the "Wait and check the lineup" before buying.
