The Big N opened with an orchestra playing music from the Legend of Zelda series, seemingly inspired by the Zelda Reorchestrated phenonomen (listen to podcast segment) and then went on to unveil a new console with touchscreen controller and a wide variety of games and ways to interact with them:
- Wii U - New Wii HD console with tablet controller. The tablet controller has a 6.2-inch screen that lets you sketch, play touchscreen and controller-based games, move your game from the TV to the portable and interact with TV games using the controller (e.g, flick throwing stars at screen, catch baseball with virtual mitt). Can be used with Wii Fit minus the TV so you can work out in rooms with no television via wireless connection. Console supports 1080p output. Other Wii accessories work with it too. Not designed to be a portable gaming device: No processor, just wireless video stream from console - so it won't work on its own. Tablet includes dual analog sticks, D-pad, face buttons, shoulder buttons and triggers plus a camera, speakers, accelerometer and gyroscope. Mario Paint and video chat capability included. Confirmed games include Aliens: Colonial Marines, Assassin's Creed, Batman: Arkham City, Darksiders II, Dirt, Ghost Recon Online, The Legend of Zelda, Metro: Last Light, Ninja Gaiden 3, Pikmin, Tekken and EA Sports titles. Due 2012. Pricing not revealed.
- Nintendo 3DS - eShop demos due later this year for both retail and downloadable games. Mike, speakers, acceleromter, gyroscope
- Super Smash Brothers - Wii U and 3DS with some form of cross-platform play.
- Lego City Stories - Open world title from Telltale for Wii U and 3DS.
- The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - GameBoy Color game, launches on 3DS Virtual Console eShop today for $6.
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - Official soundtrack will be free gift for early registrants at Club Nintendo.
- The Legend of Zelda: 4 Swords Multiplayer - Free DSiWare download this fall.
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Holiday release with improved controls using MotionPlus and a Zelda-branded Gold Wii-mote (might be sold separately).
- Super Mario 3D - New 3DS game, due by end of year.
- Luigi's Mansion 2 - New 3DS game with several mansions. Due 2012.

yeah so it's pretty clear that his totally loved that Reorchestrated Soundtrack. I hope the one their putting out is orchestrated too. I kinda do need a fourth remote, actually I don't but if they make it available separately and it doesn't have a special tax on it then I might consider it.
Nintendo announced two Zelda soundtracks at E3. The first is a promotional Ocarina of Time 3D soundtrack free to early Club Nintendo registrants. The second is an orchestral soundtrack based on the Zelda orchestra tour they're doing this year, should be out by holiday I think.
