File this under "better late than never." Last year we attended PAX Prime on our own dime but we still recorded many interviews. Some of them were pretty good. But work and life overtook us, and we never posted them. Part of it was because we were still reconceptualizing the site and podcast.
This past week, we had a breakthrough. We recently soft launched as Busy Gamer Nation on iTunes and Zune, featuring 197 curated segments from our extensive Best of Busy Gamer Podcast feed.
Today, we officially relaunch as Busy Gamer Nation with our first new segment: an interview with Greg Kasavin from Supergiant Games about the challenges of porting Bastion to the iPad. Almost a year old, yet in many ways timeless.
It's a good listen, and we certainly hope you enjoy it. And when you're done, we hope you'll check back daily for the other five PAX interviews we have nearly ready to post (expect daily updates for the next week!):
- Pinball FX 2's Plants vs. Zombies table (and those pesky Archer table rumors)
- Lococycle
- Dead Island: Riptide
- My Giants
- And a cautionary Kickstarter tale evoked by our fortuitous Code Hero interview
Plus, our Busy Gamer Nation archive (Web | RSS | iTunes) is well stocked with great classic content, including our Audiophile series on game music, myriad tips and tricks segments, interviews, reviews, cosplay, think pieces, and Pikachu Fan's younger view on many games.
