Nevermind is a mess-with-your-head kind of game. On PC and Mac, it's designed to work with a biofeedback accessory to determine when you are stressed, and ups the ante accordingly.
On Xbox One, you're off the hook as there is no compatible hardware (yet) to determine when you're freaking out - but there's still stuff in there to make you jump out of your skin. The tutorial mission, aimed at easing you into exploring some screwed up psyches, is still pretty intense in spots - though I did think it was judging how fast I reacted so I tried to slow my pace a bit. Turns out I need not have bothered.
