So, we were looking for a new couch co-op game, and Cat Quest II had some good reviews. We also love games with cats in them. Turns out, only one of us got to play as a cat. The other is a dog.
As couch co-op goes, this is OK but didn't really feel like we were contributing significantly different things (even with the variety of spells and weapons). It's mostly dodge, hit, dodge, revive, dodge, revive, dodge, hit, rinse, repeat. Also, only the main player unlocks any achievements, which makes the co-op feel even more pasted on.
