Opus: Echo of Starsong gets top marks in reviews, but the gameplay so far is... dull. It's a walking and talking simulator, though supposedly it delivers an emotional punch at the end. The opening reminded me a little of the finale of Bastion, but without earning your devotion to the characters it felt hollow.
I guess it gets better, but with zero difficulty and meaningless dialogue choices I don't yet see how. FYI, the Full Bloom Edition added voice acting, though the only choices I saw were Japanese and Chinese:
