After playing (and getting quite lost in) Hot Wheels Unleashed's expansive and hard-to-navigate world, I decided to give the sequel Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged a shot after it was added to Xbox Game Pass.
I didn't have high hopes, but the wraparound story is somehow both dorky and promising at the same time. I'm not sure how I'm going to battle giant monsters, and the reason for shrinking me down to metal car size didn't really make sense, but I'm going with it.
There are some new features such as jump and bump, which I eventually start to master near the end of my run:
