Sony is offering a one-year free trial of PlanetSide, its massively multiplayer online sci-fi player vs. player battle game. Yes, that's right - the trial ends on March 24, 2007. Here's the catch: You play in the PlanetSide Reserves where you can only advance to Battle Rank 6 and don't have access to mechs (aka Battle Frame Robots). You'll also get nagged to buy a $12.99 monthly subscription every time you quit.
