First Look - Super Smash Bros. Brawl

If you've been waiting for Nintendo to unlock the potential of the Wii's Wi-Fi capability with some online multiplayer action, the game that's going to do it might just be Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's just been announced that Smash Bros. will offer online battles with friends (yes, you will still need those annoying codes) and strangers. You can send custom taunt texts entered ahead of time to your buddies. But play a stranger, and the experience is totally anonymous and silent (why does that sound so creepy). Alas, you won't have a popular venue to hook up and exchange codes since Nintendo is ditching its NSider Forums message boards. That's right, they are in read-only mode now and close down permanently on Sept. 24. Go grab your mail and any friends codes you wanted before they're all deleted...
