It's our own little Welcome Back package for PSN! To celebrate the return of PlayStation Network this week (and the imminent return of the PlayStation Store on Tuesday), we have a set of prizes for the Sony fans, who - truth be told - have had to endure a lot lately. We won't rehash the details, but we think we have a small part of the antidote.
First up, there's Brutal Legend - the action/strategy adventure starring Jack Black with both a deep single-player campaign and exciting online battle mode. You can make great use of recently restored services with leaderboards, lobbies, voice chat, and even downloadable content. This is a solid game that should be in most gamers' collections, and this week it could be yours (oh, yes!).
If you're more of the tactical espionage type, we have something for you as well: the Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty Volume 2 graphic novel. Written by Alex Garner and illustrated by Ashley Wood, this 148-page tome contains six well-regarded comics and art gallery.
