Xbox Live Marketplace - Dashboard update, Sega Rally, Mass Effect 2 comic and packs for Crysis 2 and Fallout: New Vegas

Xbox 360Starting today, Microsoft is rolling out its new Xbox 360 dashboard update -though it may take a week or more before you're offered the patch (it's being rolled out in stages).

New features include the option to pay for Xbox Live Gold and Microsoft Points with PayPal and a new standby mode that puts your console to sleep if you leave it idle for an hour or more. Note that standby is enabled by default, so if you don't want it you'll need to turn it off in your settings after accepting the update.

While you're waiting to get the update, here's what's new this week on Xbox Live Marketplace:

  • Arcade: Sega Rally Online Arcade ($10) plus Ancients of Ooga The Forgotten Chapters ($2) and Pinball FX2 Fantastic Four Table ($3)
  • Crysis 2 Retaliation Pack ($10) with 4 maps
  • Fallout: New Vegas Honest Hearts ($10)
  • Mass Effect 2 Genesis ($4) interactive comic
  • Shift 2 Unleashed Speedhunters Edition Pack ($10) with 12 cars and Drag and Standing Mile modes
  • You Don't Know Jack Pack 3 ($5) with 10 episodes
  • Yoostar 2 The Hangover Scene Pack ($5) and individual scenes ($2 each) from Kick-Ass, Men in Black II, Saw V, Scarface
  • Dance Central tracks ($3 each) "Fergalicious" by Fergie featuring will.i.am, "Informer" by Snow and "Lapdance" by N.E.R.D. featuring Lee Harvey and Vita
