For some reason, I'm drawn to golf games - especially minigolf. None so far have bested Infinite Minigolf (from the makers of Pinball FX) but House of Golf 2 is in the zone. It has wacky courses populated with special items like cannons and speed boost pads. There are collectibles and online tourneys (I tried a Halloween-themed one).
It doesn't have quite the zip and pizazz of Infinite, but it's a solid purchase that I might actually finish:
