After Garfield Kart, I didn't have much optimism about Meow Motors. But it turned out to be a solid kart racer with smooth controls and fun powerups. I didn't always drive my best, but that's on me. I did have fun, both in regular races and "strike" mode where you try to take out as many competing racers as you can before time runs out.
The opening cinematic threw me: I thought I was going to take control and start a race (which would have been smooth) but instead it was all prologue, easily skipped but I captured it all in case you want to see - it is funny:
