Xbox Live Marketplace - The Dishwasher, Gears 2 maps and Alien Hominid HD on sale

First, you should know that Alien Hominid HD is on sale for $5 this week only, so if you've been holding off due to price now's your chance. You'll also need to patch your dashboard, though the update adds no new features and is meant only to fix "interruption issues that some Xbox Live users may have experienced when playing a limited number of Xbox 360 games." So, just a bug fix. Here's what's new on Xbox Live Marketplace:

  • Arcade: The Dishwasher ($10) - and Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is confirmed for next week (finally!)
  • Gears of War 2 Snowblind Multiplayer Map Pack ($10) with four winter-themed maps
  • Midnight Club: Los Angeles South Central Map Expansion (free) and Premium Upgrade ($10) with 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL 65 AMG, 2008 Audi S5 and 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
  • X-Blades Sky Islands Mission Pack ($7.50) with three level challenges
