Based on the trailer for Pigeon Simulator, I was expecting something more free-ranging like Goat Simulator. This one has something resembling a story and purpose - investigating anomolies, collecting them, and transporting them in designated quotas like some sort of X-Files detective.
Seems like too much work when I just wanted to fly around and cause mayhem, birdpoop on some heads, steal some lunches, and cause some accidents. Instead, I'm fighting off possessed books and planters.
