Inscryption looked like a nice spooky game to stream in October, and I was right - only I didn't realize it's a card battle game. Its saving grace is that it's both dark and funny: one of the creatures I sacrificed early comes back and gives me attitude about it.
I clearly don't understand the strategic elements here and played way too conservatively, leading to an early demise. The fun part is that death is not the end, and there are hints of much deeper meta puzzle elements at play in the dimly lit room where you battle.
Balatro is more fun, but this one has me intrigued:
