My adult son loves Yakuza: Like a Dragon - he says his only complaint is sometimes the gameplay gets in the way of the cut scenes. Yeah, that's right, this is a game that reputedly has a better story than action.
When you do get control of your character, you'll dart across town trying to catch someone or find a destination using a minimap that's at first confusing. Combat is turn-based with some real-time action if you time it right.
I went a little long but apparently not long enough as I'm still stuck in the second prologue. Still, there's enough here to help you make up your mind about whether Like a Dragon is right for you:
