Fans of this site know I don't care for realistic war shooters EXCEPT for the Sniper Elite series. This series (especially SE4) is amazing and addictive. In Sniper Elite: Resistance, you play as a new character who so far conveys a level of cheesiness not yet seen in these games. The core mechanics don't seem to have changed much, but I did die a lot in part because each game seems to reduce the effectiveness of boobytrapping bodies.
So, yeah, save early and often, and embrace the fromage:
