You probably know we're mega-fans of PowerWash Simulator (streaming six of its DLC too, including the recent Wallace and Gromit pack). Obviously with Spray Paint Simulator launching onto Xbox Game Pass, I needed to try it right away.
I was skeptical about the masking part of the game but it's actually easy and kind of fun identifying the parts to tape over. The core mechanic is very similar to powerwashing, except you're putting on coats of paint rather than getting tough stains out. The reveal is the best part, as you rip off the paper and tape and reattach any parts you removed.
I made it through the first level, painting a car, in 15 mins and then made a dent in a rather large kitchen project:
